I’ve been keeping an eye on the news this week. Well, two eyes. Well, what I really mean is I’ve been scrolling for hour after horrified hour trying to maintain some scrap of hope for humanity and lost quite a bit of sleep in the process.

Dear readers, things in the United States are escalating quickly. Please be kind to each other and give help where you can. Be with your loved ones. Stay safe. Stay sane. Keep fighting. Donate your time and resources as possible. And white people (that includes me), for goodness sake stop giving opinions and LISTEN to people of color. We have two ears and one mouth because we are intended to use them in that proportion.
